Tangent (school yrs 10 – 13) and Lazers (school yrs 7 – 9) meet on Sunday mornings after attending the first part of the service.
3:16 (school yrs 7 and above) is a fortnightly social evening meeting at 8pm on alternate Thursdays at Redwell Junior School. The “3:16” programme includes a wide variety of fun activities and usually ends with a “God Slot” that the young people take in turns to lead. The group have tried their hands at photography, junk modelling and kite making, as well as sessions on drug and alcohol awareness led by outside speakers. They regularly have games evenings as well, when they can join in with PS2 or Xbox games, or relive their childhood with a board game!
Youth Home Groups – for fun, food and drink, Bible study, topical discussions and prayer. We currently have one group which alternates with 3:16 which is for everyone in school years 7 - 9. An older group for school years 10 and above meets on a Sunday evening.
Youth Worship Band - a group of young musicians and singers meet usually twice a month on a Sunday afternoon to practise playing and worshipping together. Once a month during All Age Services they lead the worship. Contact Rev Steve and Alex Benoy if you are interested in joining. You do not need to be an expert musician to come along, a heart for worship is what's important.
Gleneagles is blessed with a talented and enthusiastic group of young people who participate in many ways as well as having their own groups.
Our fantastic Youth Leaders! They would love to hear from you if you could like to help them!
