Women's Ministry

Our women's ministry is led by June Pereira, Helen Downey and Jane Bell. With a small team of helpers they put together a programme of social events and the occasional retreat or teaching event.

Ladies Homegroup meets on Monday afternoons during term time from 1.00pm - 3pm and is led by June and Helen. Each week this group gets together for fellowship and each term they usually enjoy lunch together at a local cafe or restaurant. A new Ladies Homegroup meets fortnightly at 9am on Thursday mornings during termtime. (Dates & venue details can be found on the Notices page)

Mums and Tots - Thursdays during term-time 1:30 - 3:15pm at the Gleneagles Social Club

If you are the parent or carer of a pre-school child please come and enjoy a chat and a cuppa while the children get on with the serious business of playing, stories, songs and crafts.

A Ladies’ Retreat was held on June 10/11th and the following prayer, based on Ephesians Ch 3, was written during that time:

Lord, we pray that out of Your glorious riches You may strengthen us with Your power, through the Holy Spirit in our inner beings, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith.

We pray that all of us, being rooted and established in love, may receive Your power so that we may grasp how wide, and long, and high, and deep, Your love is.

We pray that we may know this love that surpasses knowledge and that we may be filled to the measure with all that You are.
