Pastoral Care

Gleneagles has an active Pastoral Care Team led by Lisa Holland, Lay Pastoral Minister. The team meets regularly to pray for members of the church and to discuss anyone in the congregation who is in need of extra support, for example due to illness or bereavement. There is also a team of volunteers who are willing to offer practical help such as making meals, shopping or ironing for those who require such assistance.

Prayer

Prayer is available at any time at Gleneagles. The Prayer Ministry Team is available after each service and wear prayer ministry team badges to make them easily identifiable. There are also several team members who are trained in more indepth prayer ministry. Appointments can be made for team members to pray for you at home. These longer prayer appointments are beneficial for anyone suffering from long standing hurts. If you would like to contact the prayer ministry team please speak to Lisa or Melvyn.

If at any time you urgently need prayer, please contact Lisa and she will contact the prayer chain who are available at any time.

Prayer Days

Prayer Days happen usually twice a year. The school hall is set up with a variety of different prayer stations and prayer ministry is also available. Our next Prayer Day will be on Easter Saturday, 7th April 2012. If you would like to join our team to plan the days, or are available to help us set up, please speak to Lisa.
