We meet on Thursday evenings during term time. 

• KFC 1 is for children in school years 1,2 and 3
• KFC 2 is for children in school years 4,5 and 6
• KFC 1 and KFC 2 meet on alternate Thursday evenings in Redwell Junior School at 6.00pm. 
• KFC 1 finishes at 7.15pm and KFC 2 ends at 7.30pm.

We start each evening with a short activity, sometimes a word search or a puzzle until everyone arrives. Next comes a Bible story presented by a leader or the children perform a drama. We have a team game and songs, then very important, a drink and biscuit. After that it’s usually a craft activity; last term we planted a bulb and decorated the pot, made clay candle holders and created animals using pipe cleaners. There’s always plenty of opportunity to earn team points and prize night at the end of term is one of the highlights, especially if sweets or chocolate are among the prizes!

We have a dedicated team of leaders who make sure that KFC is fun for all and that everyone learns something new each week.

During the summer term the children wrote their own prayers - here is an acrostic, written by one of our members -
